Who Is HAON?
HAON previously gained attention through High School Rapper in 2018, released projects like Travel: Noah EP, and collaborated with Jay Park. His journey from teenage rap prodigy to SMTM12 champion is one of the most satisfying arcs in the show’s history.
Season 12 featured four new producer teams: Zico & Crush, Gray & Loco, J-Tong & Hukky Shibaseki, and Jay Park & Lil Moshpit Wikipedia — making it one of the most stacked producer lineups the show has ever assembled. Read more about the full season on Wikipedia’s official SMTM12 page.
Was It Controversial?
Somewhat. Many fans were unhappy with the final rankings, particularly Nowimyoung finishing 2nd, with some calling the results “rigged.” But HAON’s landslide margin of victory — more than double the second-place votes — made the win impossible to dispute.
