Just a few days before the game launches, Gotham Knights received a cinematic launch trailer that showcases a chic view of the Bat Family in action. The four playable characters in Gotham Knights are Robin, Batgirl, Red Hood, and Nightwing. This video, like much of the other marketing for the game, cleverly divides its time between them while also drawing inspiration from Batman. On October 21, Gotham Knights will officially launch, so it won’t be long before players can take on the roles of these characters.

You can see the aforementioned new trailer below, but because it’s a theatrical one, don’t anticipate seeing any actual gameplay from it. But as they defeat some grunts, we do get some really close-up views of the game’s protagonists and their distinctive combat techniques.

At the conclusion, Alfred gives the Bat Family a pep talk and says a few encouraging things that convey how Batman feels about the gang. A short picture of Bruce Wayne’s gravestone was used to emphasise those promises and to demonstrate to the Gotham Knights players that he had genuinely passed away. Although the creators of Gotham Knights have stated that the hero is truly dead, players are already dubious of that story point and believe that Batman will still be alive in some way.

Gotham Knights releases for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms on October 21st.
