Google Pixel 11 First Look: Leaked Renders Reveal Thinner Bezels, All-Black Camera Bar & Tensor G6

TL;DR: The first official CAD renders of the Google Pixel 11 are here, courtesy of OnLeaks × AndroidHeadlines. The headline? Slimmer bezels, a fully unified all-black camera bar under glass, a flat metal frame — and the same familiar Pixel DNA you either love or are getting tired of.

Google’s 2026 flagship just showed its face — and true to form, it looks a whole lot like last year’s Pixel. Fresh leaks from OnLeaks and Android Headlines reveal a base Pixel 11 model that prioritizes refinement over reinvention, continuing Google’s established design language with subtle but meaningful tweaks. Technosports Whether that excites or frustrates you depends entirely on how you feel about Google’s design philosophy — but there’s more going on under the surface than the renders let on.

First Look: What the Leaked Renders Show

The image above (via @OnLeaks × @AndroidHeadlines) gives us our clearest look yet at the Pixel 11 in what appears to be a soft lilac/lavender colourway — a clean, premium-looking device that keeps the iconic Pixel silhouette intact while addressing some of the Pixel 10’s most common criticisms.

The most striking element remains the signature camera bar that stretches across the back of the phone — but the new renders show a slimmer border around the module, along with an all-black finish across the entire visor, replacing the colour-matched portion around the flash unit seen on the Pixel 10.

Design Changes: What’s New vs Pixel 10

The Pixel 11 measures in at 152.8 × 72 × 8.5mm — identical to the Pixel 10 in every measurement except a 0.1mm reduction in thickness. Worth noting: the Pixel 10 gained 0.1mm to accommodate Pixelsnap magnets, so the Pixel 11 is effectively returning to the exact footprint of the 2024 Pixel 9 — but keeping Qi2 support.

The Tensor G6: The Real Story

While the design evolution is modest, the internals are where things get genuinely exciting. The Tensor G6 is a 7-core processor built on TSMC’s cutting-edge 2nm process with a PowerVR C-series GPU and MediaTek M90 5G modem — promising significant gains in power efficiency and thermal management over the Tensor G5. This is Anthropic’s biggest ever chip leap, built specifically to handle Google’s growing suite of on-device AI features.

The camera also gets a notable upgrade: leaked reports point to an “ultra-low-light” video mode that processes high-quality footage entirely on-device — no cloud processing, pure computational photography.

The Big Criticism: Is This Enough?

The Pixel 11 looks almost indistinguishable from the Pixel 10 and the Pixel 9 before it — but Google’s Chief Design Officer Ivy Ross has been plain about this: the company plans to refresh its design language every two to three years. The Pixel 11 sits squarely at the end of that cycle.

Where it’s less thrilling is storage: rumours point to Google maintaining a base configuration of just 128GB — while Apple pushed the base iPhone 17 to 256GB and Samsung did the same for the Galaxy S26 series. Shipping a premium 2026 smartphone with 128GB base storage is a decision that will face scrutiny.

The good news? If the Pixel 12 is the “major redesign” year, it means the Pixel 11 is the last of this generation — and Google tends to polish its final-cycle devices well. For fans of Google’s AI-first smartphone philosophy, the Tensor G6 and camera upgrades alone may make this a compelling buy.

When Can You Get It?

Google is expected to unveil the Pixel 11 series in August 2026, following its established strategy of launching before Apple’s September iPhone window. FCC filings are expected in late June to mid-July, with pre-orders opening same day as the announcement.
