Revolutionary Tensor G5 Chipset

The star of the show is Google’s new Tensor G5 processor, representing a major shift in the company’s chip strategy. Pixel 10 features Google’s new Tensor G5 chip, built on a 3nm TSMC node, moving away from Samsung’s manufacturing.

Performance Breakthrough: Leaked benchmark numbers tested on the unreleased Pixel 10 Pro Fold shows up to a 36 percent bump compared to the current Tensor G4, delivering unprecedented power efficiency and AI capabilities.

Manufacturing Switch: Google had initiated development on Tensor G5, codenamed “Laguna”, which was to be designed fully in-house, manufactured by TSMC instead of Samsung, and built on TSMC’s 3 nm process.

Advanced AI Integration

The Pixel 10 series pushes AI boundaries with enhanced computational photography, real-time language translation, and intelligent battery optimization. Google’s focus remains on practical AI features that improve daily smartphone experiences rather than benchmark-chasing performance.

• Camera AI: Next-generation computational photography with improved night mode and portrait processing
• Assistant Integration: Deeper Google Assistant features for seamless voice control
• Battery Intelligence: AI-powered optimization extending battery life significantly
