Google I/O 2020 is Cancelled as both Physical and Online events are called off due to COVID-19

Google previously called off their Physical event which was to be held on California was called off due to the initial worldwide outbreak of the Coronavirus. After that, the company decided to continue the event via online platforms.

Many companies are going to hold their events online due to this pandemic like Realme, Xiaomi, etc. Google also tried to do so but with the increase in panic worldwide due to worldwide, and keeping in mind the safety of everyone the company also called off their online event of Google I/O 2020.

“Out of concern for the health and safety of our developers, employees, and local communities — and in line with recent “shelter in place” orders by the local Bay Area counties — we sadly will not be holding I/O in any capacity this year.” – Google said in its Google I/O 2020 website.

This means this year Google I/O will not be held.

Worldwide Government is advising people to keep social distancing. Work from home is strictly advised by the governments of every country now. Italy has faced the worst nightmare of all time in this pandemic.
