(G)I-DLE Are Coming Back This Summer — And Their 2026 Era Is About to Be Massive

Neverlands, get ready — your favourite girl group is making the most power-packed comeback of the year. CUBE Entertainment officially confirmed on April 13 that i-dle will release a new album in July 2026, with the group currently in the final stages of preparation.

And that’s just the beginning.

(G)I-DLE’s First Comeback in 5 Months

This will mark their first comeback in approximately five months since the release of their digital single “Mono (Feat. skaiwater)” in January 2026. Given how creatively bold that track was, expectations for a full album are sky-high.

Making History at Lollapalooza

i-dle will make their debut appearance at the major U.S. music festival Lollapalooza, taking the stage at Grant Park in Chicago on July 31 (local time).

The four-day festival runs from July 30 to August 2, 2026, and features headliners including Charli XCX, Lorde, JENNIE, Tate McRae, The Smashing Pumpkins, and The xx Rock Cellar Magazine — making it one of the most K-pop-stacked lineups in Lollapalooza history.

Asian artists are no longer peripheral on the Lolla stage — they’re centre stage, sharing equal billing with Western stars and drawing fans from every corner of the world. Evrim Ağı

World Tour Already Underway

Since February, i-dle has been touring globally on their fourth world tour “2026 Syncopation”, meeting fans in Seoul, Taipei, and Bangkok. The Taipei stop was especially historic — they became the first K-pop girl group to perform at the Taipei Dome.

Following Lollapalooza, their North American tour kicks off in August, meaning the group will be in full global domination mode with brand-new music in hand.

The group’s artistic growth has been well-documented — learn more about their story on the Wikipedia page for (G)I-DLE. For more K-pop news, tour updates, and comeback alerts, check out TechnoSports Entertainment and our latest K-pop coverage.
