Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra will launch in black, white, blue, and purple according to leaked SIM tray images, with violet tipped as the hero color instead of the previously rumored iPhone-inspired orange finish.

SIM Tray Leak Confirms Four Launch Colors

Well-known tipster Ice Universe shared images of Galaxy S26 Ultra SIM card trays revealing the phone’s complete color palette. Since SIM trays typically match the device chassis, these leaks reliably indicate final color options ahead of Samsung’s official announcement expected in late February 2026.

Galaxy S26 Ultra Confirmed Color Options

Color	Status	Notes
Black	Confirmed	Classic flagship option
White	Confirmed	Clean, minimalist finish
Blue	Confirmed	Traditional Samsung shade
Purple (Violet)	Confirmed	Hero color for 2026
Orange	Absent	May appear on other S26 models

Purple Takes Center Stage Over Orange

A second leaker confirmed that violet will serve as Samsung‘s hero color for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, marking a departure from earlier speculation about an orange variant similar to recent iPhone releases. This decision aligns Samsung’s flagship with more refined color aesthetics rather than bold, attention-grabbing hues.

The leaked color lineup matches previously revealed Galaxy S26 series wallpapers, which featured blue and purple shades alongside darker tones corresponding to the black variant. While those wallpapers included an orange option, the absence of an orange SIM tray suggests that shade won’t appear on the Ultra model at launch.

Where Orange Might Still Appear

Orange hasn’t been completely eliminated from Samsung’s plans. The color could debut on standard Galaxy S26 or S26+ models, or emerge as a Samsung.com-exclusive finish available only through direct purchase channels. Samsung frequently reserves certain colors for online-only availability to differentiate its direct sales from carrier and retail offerings.

The strategy mirrors Samsung’s historical approach of designating one standout shade annually to anchor marketing campaigns. Previous hero colors included burgundy for the S24 Ultra and phantom black variations across earlier generations.

Design Consistency Across Color Options

All four confirmed colors will feature Samsung’s signature matte finish on the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s titanium frame, maintaining premium aesthetics while minimizing fingerprint visibility. The color-matched SIM trays ensure visual cohesion across every element of the device design.

Purple’s selection as the hero color suggests Samsung will heavily feature this shade in promotional materials, retail displays, and launch event presentations. The blue option provides a safer alternative for consumers preferring traditional smartphone colors, while black and white serve as timeless choices appealing to minimalist preferences.

With the Galaxy S26 series launch anticipated for late February and sales beginning in mid-March 2026, Samsung’s final color decisions reflect market research and regional preference data gathered from previous flagship releases.
