The Honest Truth: It’s Mostly Last Year’s Phone

Here’s where the Galaxy S26 FE gets a genuinely mixed reception — its spec sheet is nearly identical to the Galaxy S25 FE it replaces. The display, battery capacity, charging speeds, and camera resolutions are effectively unchanged. The real upgrades are the newer 3nm Exynos 2500 chipset (up from the 4nm Exynos 2400), Android 17 out of the box — a version currently only otherwise available on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series — and a genuinely improved 12MP front camera built to capture more people in group shots.
