Fujitsu UH-X series laptops with 11th Gen Intel CPUs to launch in India on Amazon Prime Day

The well-known Japanese laptop maker is making its way into India to launch its highly-appraised UH-X series thin & light notebooks. Powered by the 11th Gen Intel Tiger Lake processors, these are some of the lightest laptops you have ever seen in the market.

Now, as we know, Amazon is all set to host two days of mega Prime Days for its Prime customers, which also marks the launch of some of the best products. So, the Japanese maker is all set to launch UH-X series laptops and most probably, it would be the Fujitsu Lifebook UH-X/E3 laptop.

The laptop sports a 13.3-inch 1080p display powered by an Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor. The company also claims that it made several design modifications to the typical laptop design, including using a carbon fibre top lid in the usual metal or plastic builds.

Also, Fujitsu has reduced the total number of assembly parts in the laptop by half and replacing the traditional DC charging interface with USB charging only. The company has reduced the depth of the display panel, trimming down the bezels to a bare minimum, along with other design revisions.

Being an Intel-powered laptop, it has all the benefits like the new Iris Xe GPU, 8GB of LPDDR4X-4266 dual-channel RAM, up to 1TB SSD, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and runs Windows 10 Pro. The best part about the laptop is the ultra-portable design that makes it weigh only 1.4 pounds (634 grams) and measure 0.61-inches thick.

To make this device thin & light, Fujitsu also has soldered the RAM to the board, and the battery. This LifeBook UH-X/E3 uses just a 25Whr battery, however, the company claims up to 11 hours of battery life under ideal conditions but in the real world, you can expect half the battery life, which is good for such an ultraportable laptop.

Coming to ports & connectivity you have the Gigabit Ethernet, two USB 3.2 Type-C, two USB 3.2 Type-A, HDMI, audio jack, a microSD card slot, and a fingerprint reader.

As of now, we don’t have a clear idea of which variants will be introduced in India, Fujitsu could also launch the UH-90/E3 laptop which is also very light at 834g, however, offers 512GB storage and a larger, 54Wh battery. Fujitsu’s is yet to give more details will be made official at the launch event, next week, on Tuesday, July 20.
