From Troy to Häxan: Here’s What Movies India Actually Streamed This Week (July 13-19)

Streaming charts don’t lie. They show you what people are actually watching, not what they claim to watch on social media. And this week’s JustWatch Top 10 for India is a wild mix — a Greek epic, a Telugu gangster drama, a 2010s guilty-pleasure erotic thriller, and even a century-old horror documentary all sitting in the same list.

Here’s a breakdown of every title, why it’s trending, and where to catch it.

The Complete Top 10 Movies List

1. Troy

Wolfgang Petersen’s sweeping take on the Trojan War tops the charts, proving Brad Pitt’s Achilles still has staying power two decades later. Big battles, bigger drama — a comfort rewatch for many.

2. Peddi

Ram Charan’s much-hyped action drama lands at No. 2 on Netflix. With his fan base still buzzing post-release, this one was always going to debut strong on streaming.

3. 365 Days

The Polish erotic drama franchise refuses to leave the cultural conversation. Divisive reviews, massive rewatch numbers — it’s basically the internet’s favorite guilty pleasure.

4. Ikka

A courtroom-adjacent family drama starring Bobby Deol, Ikka rounds out Netflix’s strong showing this week, proving India’s appetite for tense, dialogue-heavy dramas hasn’t faded.

5. Parimala and Co.

Anil Kapoor’s ensemble comedy — originally a “Worldwide June 5th Release” — finds a second wind on Zee5, pulling in viewers who skipped the theatrical run.

6. The Sheep Detectives

A quirky import that’s exactly what it sounds like: a flock of sheep turned amateur crime-solvers. Offbeat, family-friendly, and clearly resonating with viewers hunting for something different.

7. Project Hail Mary

Adapted from Andy Weir’s bestselling novel, this space-survival thriller brings big sci-fi spectacle to Prime Video — and sci-fi fans are showing up in numbers.

8. Boulevard (பவுல்வர்டு)

A Tamil romantic drama that’s carved out a loyal streaming audience, proving regional titles continue to punch well above their marketing budgets on JustWatch charts.

9. Häxan

Here’s the real surprise. A 1922 Swedish-Danish silent film about witchcraft, sitting comfortably in the Top 10 alongside 2020s releases. Proof that genuinely unique cult classics still find new audiences generation after generation.

10. How to Have Sex

This raw, critically acclaimed British coming-of-age drama closes out the list, continuing to draw viewers thanks to its unflinching, honest take on adolescence and consent.

Why This List Matters

What’s striking here isn’t just the variety — it’s the range. A 1922 silent film. A Telugu blockbuster. A Polish erotica franchise. A sci-fi epic. This is what real streaming behavior looks like when you strip away the marketing noise: people jump between genres, languages, and decades in the same week.
