Just when the horror was getting unbearable — MGM+ hit pause.

Fans of From, who have been gripping their seats every Sunday night, were left in suspense this week when the show did not drop as expected. If you are wondering what happened to From Episode 6 and when it is actually coming, you are not alone. Here is everything you need to know.

From Season 4 Episode 6: Everything at a Glance

Why Was From Episode 6 Delayed?

Episode 6, titled “The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter,” will now air on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 9 pm ET/6 pm PT. The episode was originally expected to be released on May 24, but has been held back as part of a planned mid-season break. The scheduling gap appears to align with Memorial Day weekend in the United States, a period when viewership often dips due to travel and holidays.

It is not a cancellation. It is not a crisis. It is just a one-week pause — but in a show as relentlessly tense as From, even seven days of waiting can feel like an eternity.

Cast member Harold Perrineau also reportedly reshared confirmation of the revised date on social media.

What Happened in Episode 5 — Quick Recap

Before the break, From delivered one of its most unsettling episodes yet. Episode 5, “What a Long Strange Trip It’s Been,” ended with major developments, including Jade’s disturbing hallucinations and revelations about the town’s cycle, alongside a violent attack at the lakeside settlement that left several characters shaken.

If you have been watching, you know: the show left those threads dangling on purpose. That is the From way — pull you in, then cut to black.

What to Expect in From Episode 6

Episode 6 is expected to deal with the aftermath of these events, including growing uncertainty around Jade’s visions, escalating fear within the town, and continued threats tied to the town’s supernatural forces.

The title — The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter — suggests something deeply personal is coming for at least one of the survivors. In a town where the monsters outside are terrifying but the trauma inside is worse, that is never a good sign.

Full Season 4 Remaining Schedule

The series is set to resume its weekly rollout following the break, with five episodes remaining in the season before its expected conclusion on June 28, 2026.

That means weekly Sunday nights on MGM+ from June 1 through June 28 — mark your calendars.
