These days AMD Ryzen 4000 powered laptops are what is trending in the laptop market with people just pouncing on these high performing, yet efficient laptops. So, this unprecedented demand in laptops has hurt AMD as well who trying to increase production as much possible to counter this availability and even overpricing issues.
People ask me for various laptops, and now that these Ryzen 4000U & H powered laptops are widely available in the market, I recommend, however, it feels sad to say that a lot of Amazon sellers are not utilizing this opportunity to serve customers but loot them with unrealistic pricing. Yesterday, I named two laptops whose price decreased a lot although there 4 more laptops that have been priced an absurd amount.
So here those four overpriced laptops with AMD Ryzen 4000 chip inside which you should be wary of:
ASUS VivoBook S14
The price of this laptop should have been Rs. 70k although sellers of Amazon are charging around Rs. 75k, so a massive Rs. 5k price hike.

HP Envy x360
This Envy x360 is already an overpriced laptop that retails generally at Rs. 75k and now against has received a price cut of Rs. 4k to take it Rs. 79k which is an insane amount of money for the specifications being offered.
- 13.3-inch Full HD multitouch IPS WLED-backlit display
- 2.3GHz AMD Ryzen 5 4500U 3rd Gen processor
- 8GB DDR4 RAM, 256 GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD
- AMD Radeon Vega 6 integrated graphics
- Windows 10 Home operating system
- 1.3kg laptop, full-size backlit island-style keyboard
- 3-cell 51 Wh Li-ion polymer battery
This HP laptop is good for those who need a good display along with touch support and enough horsepower along with battery to last longer. The 256GB SSD storage is a major setback and the RAM is also not upgradable. I strongly feel people should wait until its prices drop significantly so that it becomes recommendable.

When launched, the laptop should have cost Rs. 70k but most of the time it was available for Rs. 75k and now, to everyone’s surprise, now the laptop costs Rs. 87k.
