Fortnite is now for Free on iPhone or Android devices with Xbox Cloud Gaming Ecosystem

Epic games already made a huge fan base in the world of gaming, especially in Fortnite. The gaming company believes in such rules in developing, publishing, and distributing games.  The company follows free to play model on PC and in the digital marketplace follows the in-app purchase model. The most powerful weapon the company hold is the Unreal Engine to make money by licensing agreements for both makers and the developers.

As Epic games have started the digital fight with Apple and Google over the fees of their app store,  the gameplay of Fortnite especially on mobile devices becomes more difficult, in the other words just impossible. The gamers also try it on iPhone through Nvidia’s GeForce but it can be possible if you follow a closed beta.

Now, the current reports reveal Epic Games has taken a decision to take Microsoft as a partner and just give Fortnite anything needed for the screen for free through the Xbox Cloud Gaming service.

Fortnite gamers don't need to wait for Apple, Microsoft is here — Quartz

Fortnite is going to be the first free-to-play title to add Xbox Cloud Gaming, and the only criteria from Microsoft’s side are the players need to play on Microsoft’s account with internet access on your iOS, iPadOS, Android,  or Windows. The entire process continues through the web browser with touch controls with supporting gamepads,  and you will also be able to bring the game to Valve’s portable Steam Deck.

Microsoft confirms it will assess the feedback, but it also plans to launch more free-to-play titles in the cloud, or the Epic users, it returns the game back before the users who had otherwise just been barred as they are unable to install the game or the players who desire to play but away from the gaming machine unlike GeForce Now’s closed beta, the web version available on Android, not just iOS. It is expected that Microsoft, can fetch more people towards the Xbox environment and make them concerned about the cloud gaming capabilities, and can sell a Game Pass Subscription or two.

There are many titles that come in mobile versions in the future, but if you have the setup full console or PC-level title on your smartphone, tablet, or such underpowered laptop freely, then they can bring new updates for gamers’ preferences.  As a  part of the pitch that is not just for the gamers, whether Microsoft’s blog post duke out how many people are trying for cloud gaming and that is over 150 titles with touch control supports for any of the developers trying to fetch more new gamers.

The surprising part is to watch Epic collaborating with Microsoft as we have learned about the face-off Epic vs. Apple trial that the companies had been in talks for a long time that Epic can deliberately not going to bring  Fortnite to the Xbox Cloud. In an interview Epic’s vice president of business development, Joe Kreiner said, “We viewed Microsoft’s efforts with Cloud to be competitive  with our PC offerings,”

Epic is not going to take a cloud version of Fornite without Nvidia just to provide it to Microsoft. The new boss of Nvidia Ge-Force said,” We believe all games should be playable on any device and see today’s announcement as an exciting one for all gamers! We are working with Epic to fully launch  Fortnite with touch controls, streaming with Ge-Force performance, on Ge-Force NOW. Stay tuned for updates  coming soon.”

A big thanks for the source.
