Fortnite Takeover: Your Key to Vault Domination

Forget everything you knew about opening vaults. Epic Games has completely transformed the game with a new explosive mechanic that’ll have players strategizing like never before. Thermite is your new best friend – a rare, powerful item that’s the only way to crack open those heavily guarded vaults.Thermite looks like two sticks of dynamite taped together, and it’s a game-changer for vault hunters.

Where to Find Thermite: Your Heist Preparation Guide

Getting your hands on Thermite isn’t as tough as you might think. Here are the top ways to stock up:

1. Black Markets: The easiest method is purchasing from Black Markets near Crime City, Seaport City, and Magic Mosses. Each Thermite costs just 50 gold bars.
2. Chest Hunting: Look for special duffel bag-style chests, especially around buildings with vaults. Pro tip: Seaport City is a hotspot for these chests.
3. Player Elimination: Defeat other players – there’s a chance they’ll drop Thermite when eliminated.

Vault Locations: Where the Real Action Happens

Not all vaults are created equal. Keep your eyes peeled for vaults in these key locations:

• Seaport City
• Crime City
• Masked Meadows
• Lonewolf Lair

The Vault Cracking Process: Step-by-Step Tactical Guide

1. Approach and Prepare: Find a vault with a large door and a rotating handle. When you’re close, you’ll get the option to “Place Thermite”.
2. Strategic Placement: Stick the Thermite on the vault door carefully.
3. Defend Your Position: Be warned – setting the Thermite triggers an alarm. Expect Alpha guards and other NPCs to storm the area, defending against you and other players.
4. Speed Up the Process: Pro tip: Look for glowing weak points on the door. You can use a Plasma Burst Laser to shoot these points and speed up the vault opening.
