Apple TV+ has released the first-look images for Ted Lasso Season 4, confirming the return of Jason Sudeikis as the beloved coach. The new season finds Ted returning to Richmond after leaving to be with his son at the end of Season 3, but this time he faces his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second-division women’s football team. The first-look photos showcase the familiar faces of the AFC Richmond crew alongside new additions to the cast. The season will premiere on Apple TV+ in Summer 2026, with filming having already commenced in Kansas City, Jason Sudeikis’s hometown, before moving to London for additional production.

Season Overview

Season 4 represents a significant shift in the Ted Lasso universe. Rather than continuing with the men’s team at AFC Richmond, the focus now turns to establishing and developing a brand-new women’s squad. According to the official synopsis, throughout the season, Ted and the team will learn to “leap before they look,” embracing risks and resilience in ways they never imagined.

The season begins with Ted returning to Kansas following his departure at the end of Season 3. However, it won’t be long before the Richmond crew comes calling once again, bringing Ted back to the club and introducing him to his greatest coaching challenge.
