Final Table: Drama

What Is Final Table About?

The drama follows talented Korean chefs from around the world who gather to compete in “The Table: K-Chef 2026.” It’s a high-stakes survival competition to decide who is the best Korean chef.

Meet Cha Woo Jin

Chang Ryul plays Cha Woo Jin, head chef of Exception, described as Korea’s top contemporary restaurant. It’s backed by Pyungyeon Group, the No. 1 company in the food service industry. He’s a strict perfectionist who follows set routines in everything, from running the kitchen and dining area to his daily life, and he treats precision and strict standards as non-negotiable.

He has also been a culinary prodigy since childhood and can’t stand losing to anyone in the kitchen. So one memory stings badly. He once placed second in a cooking competition, beaten by an anonymous chef, and it was the first time he had ever failed to finish first.

The Rematch

When Cha Woo Jin learns that the chef who defeated him is entering this survival competition, he decides to enter too. His goal is to settle the score by going head-to-head with his old rival once again.

What the First Stills Show?

The new photos show him in the middle of the competition. He oversees his staff while preparing dishes himself, and outside the kitchen he visits various markets in search of ingredients. It’s a good hint that this drama will care about the food as much as the drama.

Why Add It to Your Watchlist?
