Final Fantasy XVI: Square Enix announces a new PS5 System Bundle for the upcoming game

Sony and Square Enix are making things simpler for newcomers with a new system bundle in anticipation of Final Fantasy XVI, which appears to have the potential to be a system seller for the PlayStation 5. The bundle will go on sale on June 22nd, the game’s release date, with pre-orders opening on May 4.

This information was released via the official PlayStation Twitter account. A digital version of Final Fantasy XVI is included in the bundle.

A DualSense controller based on the game as well as PS5 console covers have also been revealed by the PlayStation Blog in Japan. Unfortunately, there has been no mention of these products in North America, and it is unclear if they will be available outside of Japan.

Final Fantasy fans will just have to watch in jealousy for the time being, but hopefully, these options will be made available for locations outside of Japan. Without having to invest in a brand-new console, PS5 covers are a cool way to celebrate some of the system’s biggest releases. Since Final Fantasy XVI is the biggest PS5 game of the year (aside from Marvel’s Spider-Man 2), many fans are likely to be interested in adding these items to their collections.

Square Enix announced a pre-launch celebration for Final Fantasy XVI earlier this month, and it will take place on June 11 at 3 p.m. PT in Los Angeles. A live stream will be held for fans who can’t attend, but the publisher promises that more details will be revealed before that time. Final Fantasy XVI’s ability to match the franchise’s best games is yet to be determined, but so far, things are looking good. Since there has been so much anticipation for the game over the past few weeks, it is obvious that Square Enix has a lot of faith in it.
