They Kissed. Now They Have to Go to Work Together — Filing for Love Episode 5 Is Going to Hurt So Good

If there is one thing K-drama fans live for, it’s the excruciating, electric tension that follows an unexpected first kiss — especially when the two people involved share an office. tvN’s Filing for Love is delivering exactly that in Episode 5, and the newly released stills have us completely losing our minds.

Filing for Love Recap: What You Need to Know

What Happened — And What Comes Next

By the end of Episode 4, the simmering tension between Joo In Ah (Shin Hae Sun) and Noh Ki Jun (Gong Myoung) finally hit a breaking point — in the best way possible. Despite Noh Ki Jun gathering decisive evidence that could professionally destroy Joo In Ah, something shifted inside him. The attraction won. They shared a sudden, passionate kiss.

Now, Episode 5 picks up with the most relatable K-drama aftermath: two colleagues who kissed, pretending absolutely nothing happened. Joo In Ah snaps back to her sharp, cold professional self the very next day at the office, as if the kiss never occurred. Noh Ki Jun, meanwhile, cannot hide a single emotion on his face — and at one pivotal moment, he stops her from walking away. She turns. They lock eyes. Viewers will stop breathing.

Meanwhile, a separate storyline is heating up — Jeon Jae Yeol (Kim Jae Wook) stumbles upon Noh Ki Jun and Park Ah Jeong walking together arm in arm like a couple. His reaction promises to stir up new complications in the relationship web.

Why Filing for Love Has Office Romance Perfected

The push-pull between someone hiding a secret and someone weaponizing professional leverage — then falling anyway — is a classic romantic comedy formula elevated by sharp writing and two leads with undeniable chemistry. Shin Hae Sun’s icy-exterior-warm-interior performance paired with Gong Myoung’s emotionally transparent portrayal makes every scene crackle.
