EA Sports had already revealed earlier that they will be giving away a free Next Generation Player Item among one of 6 players.
EA wrote: “Receive an untradeable Next Generation Player Item in FIFA Ultimate Team starting December 15 when you play FIFA 22 by January 14, 2022.”
The six players chosen as the Next Generation players are:
- Theo Hernandez
- Phil Foden
- Jude Bellingham
- Christian Pulisic
- Kylian Mbappe
- Eduardo Camavinga
EA further said: “The Next Generation Player Item will contain one item out of the six Special Next Generation Player Items that celebrate Kylian Mbappé, Eduardo Camavinga, Phil Foden, Jude Bellingham, Théo Hernandez, and Christian Pulisic’s status as up and coming stars in the world of football. Their items celebrate a defining moment from their careers to date which brought their talent to the world’s attention.”
FIFA 22: Next Generation Player Item pack is finally available in FUT 22 for PC
The PS5 players got their Next Generation player item pack at the earliest but now it has been made available to everyone including the PC players. Among the 6 players, I packed Manchester City’s Phil Foden.
The young playmaker from England is one of the brightest talent coming up. He has got an 85-rated CAM card for this Next Generation Player item. Let’s look into the details.
Phil Foden’s 85-rated Next Generation Player card has got 4* skill move and 3* weak foot which is decent. He has got high attacking work rate and medium defensive work rate.
The stats of this card isn’t that mind-blowing but it is very much usable in the game as a super sub. I wanted to pack Mbappe or at least Theo Hernandez but got Foden instead. I have Parejo playing in that position, so I sometimes bring him on as a sub, later on, to introduce some fresh legs in the final minutes of the game.
