The CBI uncovered fresh details about an alleged racket that first drew attention in Rajasthan’s Sikar district. According to investigators, accused Dinesh Biwal allegedly paid nearly ₹10 lakh to obtain a leaked NEET question paper for his son Rishi Biwal. However, despite allegedly having access to the paper in advance, Rishi reportedly managed to score only 107 marks in the examination.

How the Racket Worked?
The CBI arrested two brothers — Dinesh Biwal and his brother Mangilal Biwal — from Jamwa Ramgarh in Jaipur. The duo is suspected of acquiring a ‘guess paper’ containing 120 questions linked to the examination and distributing it further to students in Sikar, after purchasing it for around ₹15 lakh. The alleged racket operated across several locations, including Sikar, Gurugram, Nashik, and other parts of Rajasthan. What Happens Next — NEET Re-Exam 2026
The agency cancelled the NEET UG 2026 exam administered on May 3 after allegations of paper leak, with more than 100 questions allegedly matching a guess paper distributed on Telegram.
The government has now scheduled a fresh examination for June 21. Students will be allowed to choose the city of their preference for the examination centre, and admit cards are expected to be released by June 14.
