Far Cry 6 can now be pre-loaded, Ubisoft+ members can play the game from midnight

Finally, the Far Cry 6 is here and now can be pre-loaded before the game officially launches today at midnight i.e. from 7th October. If you are curious about the size of the game and the specs needed just prior to the launch of the game, this might be the perfect place to get all your answers.

Far Cry 6 is an upcoming first-person shooter game developed by Ubisoft Toronto and published by Ubisoft. It is the sixth main instalment of the Far Cry series for Amazon Luna, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Stadia. The game is set to be released on October 7, 2021.

So, if you have pre-ordered the game, not only will you get some extra perks for it but also you can pre-load the game now. Team up with the Guerrillas to take down Antón Castillo in Far Cry 6, so, the size of the game is pretty nominal:

It utilizes only 41GB and you can download also install the game so that you do not miss out on the action when it’s officially playable during midnight. Also, Ubisfot+ members will get added benefits and can easily download the game as you have to download only 34.62GB.

One bad thing about the game during download we noticed is that the HD Textures Pack DLC is only available for those who have a VRAM size greater than 11GB, so even if you have an RTX 3080, you cannot use the DLC, which is quite frustrating.

However, AMD gamers can enable the feature as GPU from RX 6700 XT have 12GB+ VRAM size, another tactical move as AMD is the partner of the game.

Here are the PC specs required to play the game:

Minimum PC Settings

1080p, 30 FPS, DirectX Raytracing Off

• CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 1200 –3.1 GHZ or Intel i5-4460–3.2 GHZ
• GPU: AMD RX 460 4 GB or NVIDIA GTX 960 4 GB
• RAM: 8 GB (Dual-channel mode)
• Storage: 60 GB HDD (SSD Recommended)

Recommended PC Settings

1080p, 60 FPS, DirectX Raytracing Off

• CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X–3.8 GHZ or Intel i7-7700–3.6 GHZ
• GPU: AMD RX VEGA64 8 GB or NVIDIA GTX 1080 8 GB
• RAM: 16 GB (Dual-channel mode)
• Storage: 60 GB HDD (SSD Recommended)

1440p, 60 FPS, DirectX Raytracing Off

• CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X–3.8 GHZ or Intel i7-9700–3.6 GHZ
• GPU: AMD RX 5700XT 8 GB or NVIDIA RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB

So, you see you can expect decent frame rates at 1080p only if you have a high-end GPU like AMD Vega 64 or GTX 1080. Then, to enjoy the game at 1440p, you require a newer Ryzen CPU or Intel Core processor and a minimum of RX 5700 XT or the RTX 2070 Super.

To turn Raytracing on, you have to have a powerful GPU like RX 6900 XT or RTX 3070 and to enjoy the absolute best at 4K, clearly, you will require the latest RX 6800 series GPUs or RTX 3080 series graphics cards.

The exotic locations, maniacal bad guys, and a hefty dose of madcap violence – are all still there, and Giancarlo Esposito’s Anton Castillo feels ominous. After the lovely adventure which we had in Far Cry 3, the tropical setting is back and will now be boosted by the added benefit of modern graphics.

Yara is an extremely pretty world and it’s a Caribbean island full of green trees and blue skies. However the island is under the rule of a fascist regime, and you have to take them down. Have fun hunting. Get it from here: https://lite.bz/waGdb
