Samsung’s next Exynos 2400 processor scored 2,067 single-core points and 6,520 multi-core points on Geekbench 6 tests. As a point of reference, the Galaxy S23 Ultra, which runs on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, scored 1,979 and 5,148 on the same tests, respectively. This represents an improvement of 22% for multi-threaded performance and around 5% for single threaded performance.

Exynos 2400 processor details and its features

The Snapdragon 8 gen 2’s Cortex-X3 for the Galaxy has a maximum clock speed of 3.36GHz, which is slower than the processor’s primary core, which is almost certainly a Cortex-X4 and has a maximum clock speed of 3.21GHz.

Exynos 2400 comparison with Exynos 2200

It was found that this new processor was three times better than the Exynos 2200.

A few days ago, a Geekbench listing for the Galaxy S24+ verified what we’ve known for some time: the Exynos 2400 would feature 10 cores, two more than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. It will have a prime core clocking in at 3.21 GHz, two secondary cores at 2.9 GHz, three primary cores at 2.59 GHz, and four low-power cores at 1.96 GHz.

Phones to launch with this processor

The Samsung Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ are the only models to use the Exynos 2400. In all nations, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is anticipated to power the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The base and Plus models will also have Snapdragon variations, but they are probably only available in a few number of countries, such the US and China.
