Exclusive Interview: ‘Clutchgod’ of GodLike Esports talks about Global and Indian team’s game practice, PMGC 2021 and others

BGIS 2021 was the first official tournament from KRAFTON and is undoubtedly the first and best major for both underdogs and professional players of the BGMI community of India. In this tournament, GodLike Esports captured the fourth position and after that, they got the chance to represent India in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021 (PMGC 2021).

This is an exclusive interaction with Vivek Aabhas “ClutchGod” Horo, one of the playing four members of GodLike BGMI Lineup. In this exclusive interaction with ‘Clutchgod’ we will know about his thought process during the game and many other things.

Moreover, ‘Cluctchgod’ is the IGL of GodLike BGMI lineup. Below are the questions we personally asked Clutchgod.

1. Do you think KRAFTON or leading members of BGMI should now allow especially Indian competitive players to play alongside the global competitive players so that we can keep our pace and cope with the lost time at the global level?

Cluctchgod: Playing alongside global competitive players is undoubtedly a great experience and helps the team improve their game. Krafton has always provided the best opportunities and has taken decisions that have benefited everyone involved. 

2. What according to you should have changed the outcome of the team’s performance in PMGC 2021? (might be anything or you can give your point of view on this)

Cluctchgod: We were playing on the global stage for the first time. It was an unreal experience for all of us. We gave our best, but we know that we can improve our game. The work does not stop as we focus on getting better and never giving up.

3. As an IGL of Team GodLike, what do you think when you start your mid-game rotation?

Cluctchgod: We have our set strategies and make sure to stick to them throughout the game. Mid-game rotation is an integral part of the match, so it is vital to analyze the surroundings and not lose focus for even a second.
