European giant Borussia Dortmund collabs with ISL team Hyderabad FC

German club Borussia Dortmund and Indian Super League club Hyderabad FC have announced a historic two-year club partnership with an option to extend for additional years with an extended scope until 2025.

The partnership brings good news for football supporters in India, as it shows a long term commitment of one of the biggest German football brands to Indian football.

With this agreement Hyderabad FC will become the Official Club Partner of Borussia Dortmund in India. A first for such a cooperation for Hyderabad FC and the fourth one for Dortmund. They currently have ongoing club partnerships with Thai Premier League Club Buriram United, Australia’s NPL Club Marconi FC and Iwate Grulla Morioka in Japan.

Borussia Dortmund plays in Bundesliga in Germany.They ended last season in 2nd position in German top division club.

The journey of Hyderabad FC was not gone so well last season. But they surely want to fight for the title next season. The support of this European giant will surely give them a boost.

The grand launch of this historic partnership will take place during Borussia Dortmund’s Virtual Asia Tour on 20th August and will be streamed live on Hyderabad FC’s social media channels.

Indian football is growing so rapidly. The interest of big clubs of world to invest in this country will surely help in the growth.

This is the second big partnership after City Football Group, who owns Manchester City has invested in Mumbai City FC.
