The Euro 2024 draw has now been completed, with the first stage of the tournament almost finalised. The playoff paths have also been decided, giving fans a clearer picture of what to expect heading into the summer.
21 teams sealed their qualification through the thorough group stage held over the last few international breaks. And now, only three additional teams will make it to the finals from the qualifiers next year.
Euro 2024 draw complete: Here is the list of teams
Play-off winner A (Wales/Poland/Finland/Estonia)
Playoff winner B (Israel/Bosnia and Herzegovina/Ukraine/Iceland)
Playoff winner C (Greece/Georgia/Kazakhstan/Luxembourg)
While all the groups are expected to be tightly contested, Group A and B in particular stand out as the toughest to predict. With hosts Germany, in-form Hungary, Scotland and Switzerland, it could be a tough task considering the faltering performances from Germany over the last few international breaks.
But Group B presents a whole other challenge, with defending European champions Italy drawn against Croatia, Spain and the underdogs, Albania.
Similarly, Group D also has an outside chance at being the most entertaining with France, Netherlands and Austria drawn together. They will be joined by one of Poland, Wales, Finland or Estonia, all of whom could emerge as a wildcard in the group.
