Erling Haaland’s move to Manchester City: All details revealed

Erling Haaland recently became the fastest player to score three Premier League hat-tricks. It took him only eight games to achieve the feat, and he now leads the race for the Golden Boot, having scored 14 goals in eight games

With every game, the Norwegian is breaking records and is starting to etch his name in history. And it is safe to say that by the time he is done, he could be one of the best strikers in the world.

The details of Erling Haaland’s move to Manchester City

It was previously rumoured that Manchester City paid €75 million to sign Haaland, which was his release clause. However, it has now been revealed that the release clause was actually worth €60 million, which is the final fee paid to Borussia Dortmund

The overall expense was much higher, since there was a hefty commission involved for Alfie Haaland, Erling’s father. His former agent, the late Mino Raiola, was also entitled to a commission due to his work in the transfer.

The sporting project was the deciding factor for the striker, since there were several clubs willing to offer him huge contracts. This is why he chose Manchester City over clubs like Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Manchester United.

Being on the same £375,000 per week contract as Kevin De Bruyne, the forward is slowly becoming a dominating presence in the Premier League like no other.
