Netflix has officially confirmed that Emily in Paris Season 6 will be the last — and filming has already begun, in the most gloriously on-brand location imaginable.

Why Greece? Where Did Season 5 Leave Us?

Season 5 ended with Emily choosing to return to Paris after opening a Rome office of the marketing agency she works for and starting — and ending — a new romantic relationship.

The Greece location picks up directly from the Season 5 finale cliffhanger, in which Gabriel sent Emily a postcard from Greece, asking her to meet him there. Based on the cast and crew filming on location in Athens, it is safe to say Emily said yes.

But rather than starting in the City of Light, Emily is taking her final escapades on the road — filming has officially begun in Greece, before the cast and crew jet off to Monaco, and finally return to Paris for a chic send-off. It will be the show’s first time filming in Monaco.
