In heartbreaking news for fans, the boy group ELAST has officially announced their disbandment. On May 12, 2026, their agency E Entertainment released a formal statement confirming that after careful and lengthy discussions with all members, the group has decided to part ways and disband.
ELAST agency’s statement read:
“After deep conversations with the members, we have mutually agreed to conclude ELAST’s activities as a group. We are grateful to the members for their hard work and passion over the years. We also want to express our sincere thanks to all the fans who have supported them from the beginning until now. The members will each pursue their individual careers moving forward.”
ELAST debuted in 2020 and gained attention for their strong vocals, unique concepts, and sincere attitudes. While they showed great potential, they faced difficulties with consistent promotions and building a large domestic fanbase.
Their final activities are expected to wrap up by the end of June 2026. No specific future plans for the individual members have been revealed yet.
Fans (known as “Lastic”) have flooded social media with emotional messages, expressing both sadness and gratitude for the memories the group created during their six years together.
This marks yet another disbandment in the fourth-generation boy group scene in 2026.
