The date and time for the first El Clasico of the season have been announced. And we won’t have to wait too long to see two of the biggest clubs in the world go at it in domestic competition.

The game will be played at the Santiago Bernabeu on October 16, and the match will be played at 16:15, local time. As of now, Real Madrid and Barcelona are first and second in the table respectively. And the head-to-head encounter will help solidify Madrid’s position, or help Barcelona take the lead instead.

First El Clasico of 2022/23: date and time announced

Barcelona were able to get the better of their rivals during their pre-season friendly in America. But, Real Madrid are currently at the top of the table with 18 points while Barcelona have 16.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side will have significant momentum heading into the big game since they have won every single game of the season so far. Barcelona, on the other hand, have dropped a couple of points but are still going strong.
