One of anime’s greatest stories just got a lot closer to home. Starting July 27, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood streams on Crunchyroll in India with brand-new Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu dubs — letting a whole new generation experience the Elric brothers’ journey in their own language.
What’s Happening
Crunchyroll will roll out dubbed episodes in batches every three weeks, continuing through October 2026. This means fans don’t get the whole season at once, but a steady, binge-worthy release rhythm over several months.
Ed & Al: The Story So Far
Edward and Alphonse Elric broke alchemy’s cardinal law trying to bring their mother back — and paid dearly for it. Ed lost two limbs, and Al’s soul now clings to a suit of armor. Their only path to restoring what was lost is the legendary Philosopher’s Stone. Along the way, a corrupt military, monstrous Homunculi, and rival alchemists test the brothers at every turn, but their bond never wavers.

Why This Matters for Indian Anime Fans
Regional-language dubs have become a huge growth driver for anime streaming in India, and bringing a series as iconic as Brotherhood to Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu audiences signals just how seriously platforms are investing in local-language fandoms. For many, this will be their first time experiencing Ed and Al’s story without relying on subtitles.
