Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic is expected to join Kylian Mbappe and Kylian Mbappe as one of the top transfer targets for European clubs next summer. The Serbian has been in outstanding form since the previous season, and is leading the race for the Serie A top scorer award.
The forward has scored 29 goals in 39 games this calendar year, and we are not done with the games yet. Fiorentina were determined to tie him down to a new deal, but he has told the club that he will not be renewing his current deal. The player is contracted to Fiorentina until 2023, and will be walking out for free if he isn’t sold next summer.
A lot of the top European clubs have registered their interest in the player, with the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United, Newcastle United, West Ham, AC Milan, Juventus and Atletico Madrid looking to snap him up. According to Fabrizio Romano, Fiorentina have set a €70 million price tag for him next summer.
Atletico Madrid offered Fiorentina a total bid worth €60 million this summer. But, both the player and the club refused the offer in favour of continuing together. Now, it seems that Vlahovic is on borrowed time due to the form he is showing in Serie A.

Arsenal have been heavily linked with his signature, but they haven’t opened talks with Fiorentina yet. Alexander Isak is an alternative to Vlahovic for the Gunners, and they will have to act with haste for both names if they truly want to sign a striker this summer.
