The director has taken to Twitter and wrote, “Thank You all of you for your love and warm wishes on my birthday. Here is a return gift for all of you. #DunkiDrop2 dropping on 22nd december 2023. #Dunki releasing in cinemas worldwide this Christmas 2023. #ShahRukhKhan #RajkumarHirani #DunkiDrop1” 

On his 58^th birthday, team Dunki revealed an ensemble cast, with some colorful characters portrayed along with exceptionally talented actors, Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, Anil Grover, starring along with Shah Rukh Khan. A JIO Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Rajkumar Hirani Films presentation, produced by Rajkumar Hirani and Gauri Khan. Written by Abhijat Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani, and Kanika Dhillon, Dunki is slated to release this December 2023.
