What is Dridam About?
The story follows Vijay Radhakrishnan (Shane Nigam), a rookie police officer posted in the scenic yet mysterious hills of Idukki, Kerala. What begins as a routine investigation after a victim is found quickly spirals into a complex case involving multiple victims, clever robberies, and hidden secrets. As pressure builds from both superiors and the public, Vijay finds himself trapped in a dangerous game where nothing is what it seems. The film builds tension slowly before delivering a dramatic and satisfying climax.
Supporting cast includes Shobi Thilakan, Krishna Prabha, Nandan Unni, and several noted Malayalam actors who bring depth to this layered thriller.
This release perfectly adds to the stacked South Indian OTT lineup we covered earlier in our 7 Must-Watch South Films on OTT This Week. If you enjoyed films like Carmeni Selvam or KD: The Devil, Dridam offers a more grounded, investigation-driven experience with strong performances and clever writing.
