Why the Delays?
Don 3 faced multiple setbacks since 2023. Farhan Akhtar’s 120 Bahadur commitment (releasing November 2025) pushed schedules. Discussions about the antagonist role—Vikrant Massey versus Arjun Das—created uncertainty.
“After scheduling conflicts, Don 3 is back on track,” sources revealed. “Ranveer started prepping heavy-duty action last week.”
The timing works perfectly—Ranveer rides Dhurandhar’s ₹800+ crore success while Kriti Sanon delivered Tere Ishq Mein. Check our Bollywood box office updates.
What to Expect
Action-Heavy Sequences: Ranveer performs intense stunts similar to SRK’s earlier Don films. Jeddah schedule focuses on high-octane action.
Kriti as Roma: First franchise association, performing stunts mirroring Priyanka Chopra’s work—her biggest action role yet.
Vikrant as Villain: Makers resumed talks after scheduling issues. His face-off with Ranveer promises unpredictability.
Cameo Bonanza: Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra might appear, marking their first reunion since Don 2 (2011). Discussions with Amitabh Bachchan and Zeenat Aman add appeal.

The Succession Challenge
Ranveer replacing SRK sparked initial online trolling. “Farhan and Ranveer mutually decided to lie low and let the heat die down,” sources shared. The actor needed time for rigorous martial arts training.
Zeenat Aman endorsed Ranveer’s casting: “Congratulations, Ranveer! May you find a worthy ‘jungly billi’ to your Don.”
With shooting commencing early 2026 and December release targeted, Don 3 bridges three generations of franchise legacy.
