A Late-Night Delivery Box, a Lingering Gaze, and a Third Person Who Just Showed Up — “Doctor on the Edge” Episode 3 Is About to Complicate Everything

Just when Do Ji Eui and Yook Ha Ri were getting dangerously close, ENA’s Doctor on the Edge has decided to throw a wrench into the mix — and honestly, we’re not even mad about it. The newly released stills for Episode 3 are quietly electric, and the love triangle is officially in motion.

What Is “Doctor on the Edge”?

Doctor on the Edge follows Do Ji Eui (Lee Jae Wook), a public health doctor reluctantly posted to the remote and notorious island of Pyeondong, and Yook Ha Ri (Shin Ye Eun), a nurse on the island who is quietly carrying a secret of her own. Together, they save lives — and slowly, inevitably, start saving each other too.

What the New Episode 3 Stills Reveal ?

The Delivery Box That Says Everything Do Ji Eui is spotted pacing late at night, clutching a delivery package — clearly just looking for any excuse to knock on Yook Ha Ri’s door. The image captures his swirling, unsettled emotions perfectly: a man trying to play it cool while completely failing to do so. Relatable on every level.

Enter: Hyun Chi Yeon The stills that will really get fans talking show Yook Ha Ri and Hyun Chi Yeon (Hong Min Ki) heading out on a home visit together. Hyun Chi Yeon’s gaze is fixed entirely on Yook Ha Ri — steady, intense, and impossible to misread. Yook Ha Ri, meanwhile, looks flustered. The question of how this new presence shakes up the budding dynamic between our lead couple is now the drama’s most burning thread.

Do Ji Eui vs Island Life In a lighter but equally compelling subplot, Do Ji Eui’s ongoing war with island existence continues — caught drenched in sweat and breathless, much to the bewilderment of the cantankerous Lee Jang Soo (Kim Ki Chun). These two bicker every time they meet, and it’s fast becoming one of the show’s most entertaining dynamics.

The production team has teased that episode 3 will bring a pivotal incident — something that fundamentally shifts Do Ji Eui’s relationship with the people of Pyeondong, with Yook Ha Ri right at the centre of it all.
