AC Milan are confident of signing Divock Origi on a free transfer in the summer. The player’s contract with Liverpool runs out at the end of the season, and he has already informed them that he will be leaving at the end of the ongoing season.

The Premier League club are aware of the negotiations taking place between Milan and Origi. And soon, the formal proposal will be accepted by the Belgian to make his transfer to Serie A official.

The striker has been on Liverpool’s books since 2014, and has spent two loan spells with Lille and Wolfsburg. Over the years, he has cemented his status at the club as a supersub, and has produced some very memorable moments in big games as well.

The most profound of all of them has to be his corner goal against Barcelona that sent them to the finals of their victorious 2019 Champions League campaign. He has also scored some remarkable goals against Merseyside rivals Everton to help his team win.

Having never been a starting choice for Jurgen Klopp, Divock Origi is now set to take on a new challenge. And AC Milan are willing to offer him a contract that will make him an important part of the squad for the coming years. They are currently locked in the battle for the Scudetto, and will hopefully make the deal official once the season is over.
