Disney Channel actress Carla Jeffery, widely recognized for playing Bree in the popular Zombies franchise, has died at the age of 33.
Jeffery passed away on September 1, 2026, according to a statement issued the following day by Alexanders Talent Management, the agency that had represented her since she was a child. Her death was also confirmed through her official social media account.

In a statement mourning her loss, the management agency remembered Jeffery as a talented and vibrant performer whose career in the entertainment industry spanned more than two decades.

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Jeffery entered the entertainment industry at a remarkably young age. Her first major film appearance came when she was just 12 years old, in the 2006 comedy Phat Girlz, starring Mo’Nique.
Jeffery played a younger version of Mo’Nique’s character, marking the beginning of a career that would eventually include film, television and voice work.
Over the years, she appeared in several well-known television shows, including iCarly, Shake It Up, Good Luck Charlie, Southland, Suburgatory and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.
