Salman Khan’s Sweet Ganapati Visarjan Moment: Arpita Khan Catches Him Doing Aarti Wrong

Even superstars get corrected by their little sisters. Salman Khan joined his family for Ganapati Visarjan at brother Sohail Khan’s residence, and a heartwarming video from the celebration — capturing sister Arpita Khan gently fixing his aarti technique — has fans smiling.

Salman Khan’ Celebration Highlights

The Aarti Mix-Up That Melted Hearts

The viral clip shows Salman performing the aarti the wrong way round, with sister Arpita quickly noticing and calling out to him. Amid the loud chanting, Salman initially couldn’t hear her — until she stepped in directly to correct his technique. The moment ended on an even sweeter note, with Salman then turning around to show his niece the right way to perform the ritual himself.

A Warm Family Affair

Salman’s arrival was met with genuine affection, with nephew Arhaan Khan giving him a warm welcome and niece Ayat greeting him with a hug. His rumored girlfriend, Iulia Vantur, was also part of the festivities, later joining in to perform the aarti herself. She opted for a yellow anarkali suit for the occasion, while Salman kept things casual in printed jeans, a matching jacket, and a black beanie.

The actor was also seen catching up with his stepmother Helen and other family guests, posing for photographers, and sharing a tender moment with a young child at the gathering — all while the visarjan ceremony, complete with a large immersion water tank set up within the residence premises, unfolded with Arhaan pitching in to help.

Celebrations like these highlight how deeply Ganesh Chaturthi remains woven into family traditions across Mumbai’s film industry, with visarjan day in particular bringing together generations for one final, joyous send-off to Lord Ganesha.

What’s Next for Salman Khan

On the work front, Salman will next headline Maatrubhumi, a war drama directed by Apoorva Lakhia and co-starring Chitrangada Singh. He’s also set to appear in an untitled Dil Raju project directed by Vamshi Paidipally alongside Nayanthara, slated for an Eid 2027 release.
