Fahadh Faasil has appeared in a power pack Tamil suspense thriller drama film Dhoomam. The movie has been directed by Pawan Kumar and produced by Hombale Films. The Malayalam adaptation has been dubbed in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. 

In the trailer, Fahadh is playing the role of a  man working in an advertising agency. He approached an idea to his company on making a no-smoking advertisement that people will take an interest in watching. This plan has surprised the officials.

In this film, in search of money and fame, Fahadh finds himself in trouble when he takes the wrong path or a criminal route to achieve his goal. The new trailer provides a glimpse of the film that contains some thrilling scenes that generate curiosity. 

The new trailer kicks off with Fahadh Faasil explaining how they could be able to make an anti-smoking public service advertisement in a manner that people will be attracted to it the remaining trailer fills with several intercuts of many intriguing and thrilling moments. The trailer ends with Fahadh saying that the answer to having a brand-new car, brand-new phone, a huge house, and spending holidays in foreign is going to be too rich. 

First, Pawan wrote the script of Dhoomam in 2008, even before his debut Lifeu Ishtene. The movie was titled C10H14N2 back then, the movie was supposed to be made in Kannada. After several unsuccessful attempts in finalizing a hero and zeroing in on a producer, Pawan started the project with Fahadh and Hombale Films last year. 

The film was declared after Pawan’s project with Puneeth Rajkumar, titled Dvitva, was shelved following the sudden demise of the actor. The filmmaker’s last work is the time loop thriller ‘Kudi Yedamaithe’, starring Rahul Vijay and Amala Paul. The film was made for Aha Telugu. 

Dhoomam is Hombale Films’ second adaptation of the year after the comedy-drama Raghavendra Stores.

Dhoomam will feature Dahadh Faasil, Aparna Balamurali, Roshan Mathew, Achyuth Kumar, Anu Mohan, Vunneth, and Dharmanna. 

Dhoomam Release Date 

The suspenseful thriller drama will hit the theatres on June 23, 2023.
