• Dhamaal (2007): The original film established the crazy comedy template
• Double Dhamaal (2011): Despite mixed reviews from critics, it was a moderate commercial hit at the box office
• Total Dhamaal (2019): Made on a budget of ₹90–100 crore, Total Dhamaal grossed ₹228.27 crore worldwide and became commercially successful

The film’s Eid 2026 release timing is strategically chosen, as the festival period traditionally sees high footfall in theaters, especially for family entertainers and comedies.

Ajay Devgn’s Comedy Legacy Continues

For Ajay Devgn, the Dhamaal franchise represents a significant departure from his typical action-oriented roles. His comedic timing alongside Riteish Deshmukh and Arshad Warsi has evolved beautifully across the series, making each installment more entertaining than the last.

The trio’s off-screen friendship translates seamlessly into on-screen chemistry, which has been a crucial factor in the franchise’s sustained popularity among Indian movie audiences.
