Move over idol rappers — Um Tae-goo just debuted as “Zero”, the most unhinged, overly passionate rapper in fictional K-pop history, and his “Wild Sing” character teaser is comedy-horror gold!
Netflix dropped new stills and a 20-second rap practice clip that show Um Tae-goo completely transformed: blonde buzzcut, oversized streetwear, gold chains, and writing lyrics like his life depends on it — while covered in fake blood. His character “Zero” is the lead rapper of the cursed co-ed group △▽ (Triangle), and he’s 3000% convinced he’s the next big thing… even as people around him start disappearing.
The teaser ends with him screaming his rap verse in an abandoned warehouse while the rest of Triangle watches in horror — peak chaotic energy.
