Dell Just Brought AI Superpowers Straight To Your Desk

The AI era needs hardware that can keep up — and Dell Technologies just answered the call in India. The company has launched its new Dell Pro Precision portfolio alongside Dell Deskside Agentic AI, giving professionals the power to run serious AI workloads locally instead of relying entirely on the cloud.

What’s New in Dell ?

Dell’s fresh lineup includes the Pro Precision 5 series (14S/16S, 14/16), the Pro Precision 7 series (14/16), and the Pro Precision 7 T1 — covering everything from ultra-thin mobile workstations to desktop-grade powerhouses. Alongside this, Dell Deskside Agentic AI lets workgroups deploy and scale agentic AI workflows on-site, sidestepping the cost, latency, and data sovereignty issues that come with cloud-only setups.

Dell : Overview

Why Local AI Deployment Matters

As agentic AI workflows scale, token usage compounds fast — and cloud costs can spiral even as token prices fall. Dell’s Deskside Agentic AI addresses this directly by integrating Pro Precision tower workstations, AI accelerators like the Dell Pro Max GB10 or GB300, NVIDIA’s NemoClaw open-source stack, and CrowdStrike security into one locally-run solution.

Two configurations anchor the setup: the Pro Max with GB10, built for individual agent prototyping using 30-billion to 200-billion parameter models, and the Pro Max with GB300, designed for frontier-level inference up to 1 trillion parameters using Dell’s exclusive MaxCool technology.

The Data Backing This Push

An IDC brief commissioned by Dell and Intel found that 95% of Asia Pacific respondents expect workstations to play a critical role in AI initiatives over the next two years. In India specifically, 76% of organizations expect workstations to make up a larger share of their fleet within five years, with strong demand tied to AI deployment (77%) and data preparation (76%).

“India’s professional community is at the forefront of AI adoption and they need hardware that matches their ambitions,” said Indrajit Belgundi, Senior Director and GM, Client Solutions Group India, Dell Technologies.

Built for Security and Sustainability Too

The portfolio brings enterprise-grade protection through TPM 2.0 and ControlVault 3 Plus, both FIPS 140-3 certified, plus Dell Trusted Workspaces for supply chain and firmware-level security. On the sustainability side, select models are EPEAT Gold registered with Climate+ designation and use 100% recycled or renewable packaging — reflecting how far modern workstations have evolved from purely performance-driven machines.
