According to new reports, The People v. Gorilla Grodd isn’t just introducing one Flash villain. It’s reportedly bringing in two more from his Rogues Gallery, deepening the mystery of where Flash himself actually fits into this universe.

Two New Rogues Reportedly Joining Grodd

Per a report from the X account @AtlantaDCFans — the same source that first revealed on-set looks at Gorilla Grodd — The People v. Gorilla Grodd will also feature Murmur and Golden Glider, two very different figures from Flash’s Rogues Gallery, based on The Direct’s reporting.

Murmur, created by Geoff Johns and Ethan Van Sciver, is one of the darker villains in Flash’s history — a former surgeon turned serial killer who sewed his own mouth shut and later joined a group dedicated to killing The Flash. Golden Glider, by contrast, is Captain Cold’s sister and a more code-bound antagonist, operating under the Rogues’ no-killing rules and possessing astral projection and super-speed abilities in her modern comic incarnation.

Pairing a genuinely disturbing villain like Murmur with a more restrained character like Golden Glider in the same satirical mockumentary format raises real questions about tone — and whether one of them gets softened to fit the show’s comedic style.

So Where’s The Flash?

This is the part fans keep circling back to. With Grodd getting his own HBO Max series and now potentially two more Rogues joining him, Flash’s absence is getting harder to explain away. Unlike Batman or Wonder Woman, whose lack of appearances can be chalked up to their villains not needing them narratively, Grodd is one of Flash’s most persistent enemies — making his continued absence increasingly conspicuous, especially with no casting news for the character yet.
