Big movement on Ajith Kumar’s much-awaited Dare Devil! Reports now confirm the film is gearing up to roll cameras by September 2026 — but there’s a twist: Mohanlal, once rumored to join the cast, is reportedly no longer part of the project.

Directed by Adhik Ravichandran and produced by Ajith’s wife Shalini Ajithkumar in her production debut, Dare Devil has had a bumpy pre-production journey. Originally expected to start filming in February 2026, the shoot got delayed due to the absence of a producer at the time.

Why Mohanlal Reportedly Exited

According to Valai Pechu, Mohanlal’s exit boils down to remuneration-related differences. He was initially expected to play a supporting role, but with no official confirmation ever made by the makers, his involvement remains unconfirmed rather than a broken promise.
