Criminal Minds Season 4 Overview

What Is Season 4 About?

Season 4 is set approximately one year after the BAU’s encounter with notorious serial killer Elias Voit, also known as Sicarius. This season will have the continued involvement of Voit but will focus more on new threats that evolve based on his past behaviour.

The new season is centred on investigating serial killers but will also revolve around the ongoing fallout within the BAU team following the Gold Star conspiracy explored earlier in the series.

It’s the personal drama and grief affecting the BAU — and JJ in particular — that is expected to be one of the most compelling storylines of the season. Tom’s Guide
