What’s Driving This Season’s Story
This season continues to follow the Behavioral Analysis Unit as they face a chilling network of serial killers built during the COVID-19 pandemic, with the fallout from Elias Voit — the notorious Sicarius Killer — still looming large over every case. Showrunner Erica Messer has noted that guest star Connor Storrie’s role, first introduced back in Episode 4, expanded significantly beyond the original plan after the team responded so strongly to the character, hinting at a bigger arc than initially planned as the season heads toward its finale.
According to Criminal Minds season 19, this marks the fourth season revival of the franchise since its original CBS run ended, with the entire main cast returning, including A.J. Cook as JJ and Aisha Tyler as Dr. Tara Lewis.
Where To Watch
All episodes stream exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. with either the Essential or Premium plan, while international viewers can catch new episodes on Disney+ shortly after their Paramount+ premiere.
