Clock speeds, though possibly engineering sample figures, were reported at 3.8 GHz base and 4.78 GHz boost, hinting at the potential for even higher speeds. With a 24 MB cache and an expected TDP in the 28-45W range, this chip demonstrated a single-core score of 2346 points and an impressive multi-core score of 12,853 points, surpassing some high-end competitors.

Notably, the Core Ultra 7 155H matched the speed of the Core i9-13900H and outperformed the AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS, even rivaling the Ryzen 7 7745HX. Operating under the “Balanced” profile in an early stage, the final chip is anticipated to outperform these preliminary results significantly.

In a separate revelation, the Intel Core Ultra 5 135U “Meteor Lake” CPU, featuring a distinct core configuration of 12 cores and 14 threads, emerged in the Geekbench 6 database. The unconventional setup includes 2 P-Cores (Redwood Cove), 8 E-Cores (Crestmont), and 2 low-power E-Cores (Crestmont). Despite displaying modest performance with a single-core score of 2174 points and a multi-core score of 9396 points, it is speculated that these numbers may be indicative of early optimizations or a prototype status.

With a total of 10 leaked Meteor Lake SKUs so far, the anticipation grows as Intel is set to officially unveil the 1st Gen Core Ultra “Meteor Lake” family on December 14. Limited quantities are expected initially, with higher-end Core Ultra 9 SKUs anticipated to hit shelves in early 2024. As the launch date approaches, further details about the growing Core Ultra family are likely to surface, offering a more comprehensive understanding of Intel’s latest processors.
