India’s compact PC builder market just got two solid new options. Consistent Infosystems has launched the HORNET and RAPTOR Micro ATX cabinets on March 30, 2026 — a pair of budget-friendly enclosures built for users who want a clean, space-efficient build without compromising on airflow, durability, or hardware compatibility.

Consistent Infosystems HORNET vs RAPTOR — How They Compare

Both cabinets share the same core architecture but cater to slightly different use cases — HORNET targets everyday computing, while RAPTOR is tuned for more demanding, performance-focused configurations.

Specification	HORNET	RAPTOR
Form Factor	Micro ATX	Micro ATX
Front Panel	Premium metal	Premium metal
Side Panels	Ventilated	Side ventilation
Connectivity	USB 3.0 + 2× USB 2.0 + HD Audio	USB 3.0 + 2× USB 2.0 + HD Audio
Storage Support	2 HDD + 2 SSD	2 HDD + 2 SSD

On paper, the spec sheets are nearly identical — the real-world difference lies in how RAPTOR handles thermal management for sustained, heavier workloads. Both support the same GPU and CPU cooler clearances, meaning builders won’t feel artificially constrained by either choice.

Why This Launch Makes Sense Right Now

India’s DIY PC building community has expanded rapidly over the past two years, with first-time builders increasingly looking at compact Micro ATX builds as a smarter alternative to full-tower setups that eat up desk space. The challenge has always been finding well-built cabinets at this price tier — most budget enclosures sacrifice either build quality or airflow, rarely delivering both.

The metal construction across both HORNET and RAPTOR addresses that directly. Side ventilation panels and rear 120mm fan support give builders a foundation for a genuinely cool-running system without needing to immediately swap stock components. For a brand that was recently recognised as the Fastest Growing Gaming Brand 2024 by IT Voice, this is a natural and logical portfolio expansion.

Both cabinets are available now through Consistent’s official store and channel partners across India. For more budget PC hardware coverage, visit TechnoSports.
