In Arc Raiders’ brutal PvPvE world, finding weapon cases can be the difference between dominating a raid or limping to extraction with starter gear. These distinctive green containers with yellow arrows guarantee weapon drops when looted, making them the most sought-after loot in the game. Here’s where to find them across every major map.

Understanding Weapon Cases in Arc Raiders

Weapon cases are elongated containers identified by their signature green color and yellow arrows at the top, usually found inside locked rooms or breachable areas. When opened, they guarantee at least one weapon plus potential mods, ammo stacks, and gun parts.

Important: Spawn locations are not guaranteed to contain a case every match, but knowing where they can appear dramatically increases your loot efficiency.

Dam Battlegrounds: Top Weapon Case Locations

The Control Tower, Power Generation Complex, and Old Battleground all feature consistent crate spawns, with the Control Tower being the most reliable location. For detailed farming strategies, check our Arc Raiders loot guides.

High-Risk Route: Start at Control Tower top floors, move to Small Creek, cut through The Breach toward Floodgates, and finish at Hydroponics Dome Complex. Expect heavy player competition.

Low-Profile Route: Begin at South Swamp Outpost and orbit north toward quieter outskirts before touching central POIs late. This trades density for survivability.

Spaceport: Launch Tower Dominance

The Spaceport’s Launch Towers hide high-tier weapon cases across multiple floors, with the upper decks offering the best rewards. However, these areas are guarded by Rocketeers and Rollers, plus contested by other players.

The lower tunnels provide safer, quieter options with solid finds for early-run survival. For more extraction shooter strategies, visit our gaming tactics section.

Key Tip: Keys drop from ARC patrols guarding restricted zones, allowing access to secret passages and bunkers with the best weapon cases.

Buried City: Breach Room Bonanza

The breachable room on the northern side of Marano Station is one of the most dependable blueprint and weapon case spots, with low player traffic and high-value loot.

The Security Breach skill tree perk must be unlocked to access these premium locations. Once breached, these rooms consistently yield superior loot compared to standard containers.

Smart Looting Strategies

Field Depot Integration: Combine weapon case hunting with Field Depot deliveries to maximize returns—delivering multiple crates refreshes depot rewards each time.

Timing Matters: Let enemies clear each other out at crowded spots, then grab crates quickly and extract immediately with rare loot rather than risking extra runs.

FAQs

Are weapon case locations guaranteed to spawn every match in Arc Raiders?

No, weapon case spawns rotate between possible positions within Points of Interest. If a case isn’t at an expected spot, check nearby rooms and adjacent structures—the crate often spawns one door over. The Control Tower on Dam Battlegrounds offers the most consistent spawns, while other locations have high probability but aren’t 100% guaranteed.

What’s the best map for farming weapon cases in Arc Raiders?

Spaceport and Dam Battlegrounds offer the highest weapon case density, with Spaceport’s Launch Towers providing the richest rewards at maximum risk. For newer players, Dam Battlegrounds’ South Swamp Outpost route balances loot potential with survivability. Update your routes after each patch, as spawn points and enemy patrols change frequently with game updates.
