On July 23, it was confirmed that Nam Joo Hyuk, Lee Yi Dam, Kim Eui Sung, and Park Hoon will star in Disney+’s upcoming mystery crime thriller “Code,” directed by Yoo Soo Min of “Weak Hero” fame. The story follows a morally flexible, success-obsessed lawyer who gets pulled into a mysterious app called Code that promises to grant wishes — but never without a cost.

Nam Joo Hyuk takes on the role of Yoon Tae Joo, a former prosecution investigator turned lawyer chasing partnership at a top law firm by any means necessary. When he receives an invitation to Code, his ambition spirals into full-blown greed, giving Nam Joo Hyuk a sharply different character than fans are used to seeing him play.

Lee Yi Dam stars as Park Ji Dam, a Seoul Central District prosecutor investigating the Code incident while tracking Tae Joo — a man she shares a wary, complicated history with. Kim Eui Sung plays Jo Cheol Ho, a North Korean defector and hacker who unexpectedly ends up cooperating with Tae Joo, while Park Hoon rounds out the cast as Im Chang Jae, a veteran detective and close friend of Tae Joo who helps him unravel the mystery behind Code.
